Overview
Deseco designed, supplied and installed a heat pump system and renewable technologies to a commercial care home development in Lincoln totalling 73 bedrooms to meet the client Torsion Care Group’s zero gas requirement.
Solution
We supplied and installed three 40Kw Mitsubishi CO2 Ecodan air source heat pumps to supply domestic hot water, with 3 x1000 litre storage cylinders with 28mm coils. A further three 43Kw Mitsubishi CO2 Ecodan air source heat pumps were installed to supply the property’s underfloor heating system. To increase energy efficiency and meet the required EPC A+ rating we also supplied and installed multi-vent heat recovery (MVHR) units within all communal areas, a VRF cooling system, and a power factor correction (PFC) unit.
